Ontario Fly-in Moose Hunting

Nakina and Armstrong are two of the top fly-in destinations in Ontario for Moose hunting. Lake vegetation and new grasses in burn areas produce a healthy population of Moose. The average weight for a cow is 750 pounds. The average weight of a bull is close to 900 pounds. Every year in the Thunder Bay district bull Moose with racks in the 60" range get harvested. Success rates are higher than most places in Ontario.

Our camps are in the Thunder Bay District and the this district holds the Ontario bull Moose record for both archery and rifle.

For 2026 we have six bull tags for both archery and rifle. The amount of tags being issued is always changing. We also offer accommodations for residents with their own tags for WMUs 17, 15B and 16C. The hunt comes with a fully equipped housekeeping cabin and boats. There are coolers for meat while you wait to be flown out. All of our outpost camps have fantastic fishing for Walleye and Northern Pike.
